Vitamin C. I can honestly say that I have not had a sore throat since the 10th grade and I am now 56 years old, except once, when I went to Puerto Rico for a wedding and did not have any Vitamin C with me.
ReplyDeleteMy mother worked as a switchboard operator and I had a bad sore throat and she told me she was told Vitamin C. At that time and for just a few years I did about 5 or 6 500 mg, and my sore throats always went away. Later I realized I only needed just one 500 mg. Only once in a while I would have a really bad sore throat come on, I would take one vitamin C and it would go away and only sometimes barely start to come back, then I would only take just one more Vitamin C and it would go away.
I have told others and it seems to work for them also, especially my kids. So please research this because it would help a lot of sore throat pain for others.
