Some people would stay in bed for hours trying to get sleep, while some would fall asleep immediately but wake up intermittently all throughout the night. Sleep is a very important part of our lives and in order to stay healthy and fit, we must get some sound sleep. Here are some foods that will help you get some sleep and stay fit:

Warm milk before going to bed is a good idea to have a good sleep. This fact has been supported by a scientific data. The fact is that milk contains tryptophan, which is amino acid with sedative properties. Milk contains enough tryptophan to make you feel drowsy. It also has calcium which strengthens your bones and also helps brain in processing tryptophan. So next time if you face problem while sleeping, then just mug up a glass of warm milk. 

2. Wine

As per a scientific research, wine helps you by making you feel drowsy. Scientists explain that wine helps you relax by lowering your blood pressure and heart rate. Make sure you have only 1 glass of wine. Excess dosage may result in adverse effects.
