How To Avoid Sore Throat This Christmas

We often go through the problem of sore throat which is really annoying, especially when an important festival is round the corner and we have to eat some delicious foods and snacks. It becomes really important to keep your throat fit and fine in order to enjoy the good taste. 
According to a new research, on an average a sore throat can strike for 3 days at a time. Here are some tips that can help you getting rid of sore throat.

A study commissioned by Ultra Chloraseptic throat sprays conducted on around 2000 brits reveals that 3 quarters of people have just put up with a sore throat because they thought nothing else would help. 

Spokesperson for Ultra Chloraseptic throat spray and ENT, Andrew McCombe, explains his tips that would help to avoid catching a sore throat this festive season. 

1. He suggests that it is better to avoid the much crowded places and people who are already victim of cold and cough. 

2. It was also advised to get some fresh air as much as possible like you can sleep with your windows open and not cranking up the central heating too much. 

3. Try to have more of vitamin C and a healthy diet which consists of fresh fruits. Fresh fruits will help you keeping away from the infectious bacteria. 

4. Plenty of rest and sleep is also much needed thing that can help you avoid sore throat. 

5. Avoid drinking too much as it can make your snoring worse and both of which can cause acid reflux that is a major cause of sore throat. 

6. Gargle with hot salted water at least 6 times a day if you are already having sore throat. This will relieve the pain and you will be fine in just 1 day.
